For the unreachable
I don't aspire
there's a limit
to what I desire

that which is
too much
will lose
its essential touch

add no more
to the rose in perfect blooming
even if you were a painter
or poet-- that would be blemishing

its beauty-- humility bids
a clear boundary I should draw
my distance I should know how to keep
not to venture for what's beyond my door.
