Roaring fire
Doused with water
All that's left
Are fading embers

Clinging to life
As they slowly falter
But then dies down
Like all the others

Such is passion
And your heart's desire
It slowly dies down
With those cold onlookers

So what's left of doused passion
And hearts with no desire?
They start to tread
The cold and lonely winters
