Roadless
As I watch the ebbing tide
I am stripped of all but pride.
Left to confide
In the riptide.
Let it drag me through silent waves
And dig me the watery graves
It follows a syllable count for each couplet:
7s
4s
8s
Because I said so.
Also each couplet rhymes with itself. Thatβs why Iβm calling them couplets.
