Baby,
I'm drunk of of emotion and
peculiar situations
John Mayer's additions may not be helping
but
There's something in me that craves you

Don't get me wrong,
I love physicality,
But that's not what I'm getting at
And I'd be satisfied if it were never
Part of the equation
(though I'd miss it terribly)
I miss you
Like the plants in the shade miss the sun
Like the dry dirt misses the rain

You give me a sense of wholeness
And I wouldn't be where I am right now without you

So whether we spend the rest of our lives
(and our nights) together
Or we go our separate ways
Know that I love you
I always will
And you will always have a piece of me
And I am, and forever will be, more than ok with that.
