have value beyond the things you can do
stop saying your truth is just an excuse
those problems are real to you
take a moment to tend to your wounds

no one deserves to feel so splintered
loving yourself doesn't make you self-centered
they'll still be hurtful when your thinner
halting the narrative doesn't make you bitter

be bigger than the ones who made you feel small
set your boundaries and repair your walls
you can't always do it all
but that doesn't make everything your fault
