When you left I didn't have a period for months
I thought I was pregnant
It turns out that trauma could do that to you
It's called secondary amenorrhea
But I call it mourning
I remember it as the time I missed you so much
Parts of my body gave up functioning without you
Now I see how people die of heartbreak
