no mate
the longest day is
every day
when there's **** all,
when the night won't come
because you're watching
and the sun, though out
isn't warming,
it's a warning

whether it's
'the end is nigh'
'big boys don't cry'
or anything else
it's telling you something.

Despair
is inevitable,
(Sel' the philosopher told me)
but
we have to fight it
and the fight can be winnable.
