Late at night I wandered
To that path I often love
With Jesus walking by my side
Filling my heart with love
Through the darkness and the storm
Never fearing with Him by my side
Never fear the coldness
Because Jesus is there and love will make you warm
If I ever walked astray
Gently He guided me back to the familiar path
Never fearing, ever loving
