I live a life of wild. Of wild wind Of tall trees, Rushing waters, And red dragonflies. I wander through fields of wild Iris’s hidden by Tall ferns and sweet daisy’s I hear the laughter of the creek as it meanders to the sound. The call of the gold finches catch my attention As they dance by caught up In the ritual of courting. At night the strawberry moon smiles wishing me a goodnight and the stars shine like millions of fireflies. Bright and out of reach. From the outside looking in My life may seem simple lacking excitement, But I live a life of wild Of wild wind Of tall trees Rushing waters And red dragonflies. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
