Show me the pain in a life well lived
so good as to be envied and coveted
in land where the seat of Democracy rises
and prestigious academia lays foundations
in here I shone enough to make an inedible mark
and stood recognized as the proven real deal
simply the best
Come show me the pain in being the genuine article
not all leaders of men rule for they can carry the lamp for others
Worthy persons deserve to be called so because they are not carried away by the eight winds: prosperity, decline, disgrace, honor, praise, censure, suffering, and pleasure. They are neither elated by prosperity nor grieved by decline. The heavenly gods will surely protect one who is unbending before the eight winds.
