I am the Caterpillar
I am the Caterpillar,
Waiting for summer to bloom
So I can be free.
I am the Caterpillar,
Closed up in a cocoon,
Wanting to be rid of the past me,
I am the Caterpillar,
So close to to the freedom I long for,
Trying just to be.
I am the Caterpillar,
No longer waiting for summer to bloom
So I can be free.
*I am free.
