The nana poems 1
When I close
my eyes,
something about
you is
always
there.
watching you
still in
a moment
and then you
suddenly are
everything.
laughter defined
like a lightening
strike in
a colorado
mountain storm,
or a tender
smile that
you throw
across a room,
I mean hell
who could
ever forget
a moment
of you.
and as
the sun rises
and sets
in your
eyes,
beginnings and
endings of
dreams of
black and blue.
and your runaway
smile runs across
my eyes,
bound for
nowhere in
particular.
you capture
my thoughts
like a bird
on a breeze.
and you
take me
away....
