A Knife In The Back

   When you’re nice person
You’re basically just a rug
People will walk on you, you’re lucky
If you get a thanks and a hug

The Devil is everywhere and
He will test your faith in every way
To watch you struggle just makes him
Grin, it’s just a game to play

He is an illness he’s an addiction, he’s the
Car Accident, or the girl with blue eyes
For he’s the one and only Devil
He can take on any disguise

So in your faith stay strong
And be prepared for any attack
Because when you let your guard down
That’s when you’ll get a knife in the back
