I should not labour
nor squeeze words
by their throat-
coercion is the death
of writing-- self-defeating
totally blind and absurd

with them I'll embark upon
a gentle dialogue
no damage would there be
nor unwanted shock

each an entity of their own
in uniqueness and trait
mutual respect is the route
to fruitful understanding's gate

humble and patient I will be
together we will celebrate
the outcome of a poem
that would beauty and ingratiate.
