There’s so much hidden in a bottle
So much mystery and power
It makes you weak at the knees
It makes you go full throttle
It imprisons you in an ivory tower
And then it demands its fees.
There’s so much hidden in a bottle
Swollen livers and bloated spleens
Trembling fingers like weakened steel
Life doth mockingly chortle.
There’s so much hidden in a bottle
So much mystery and power
The power to create and to destroy
There’s so much hidden in a bottle.
