Poems
May 2020
He's still preoccupied with 1985
I know they think I'm mad
My letters show my folly
But I'm not insane
I'm more like Salvador Dali
No, I cannot paint
I'm a poet like his friend Lorca
I resist the American fascists
I'm for albino whales and orcas
Spain is a mystical land
With my main man from ol' La Mancha
He dreams Impossible dreams
For women who do not yet want ya
A love that's distant, pure, and chaste
Spiritual like Plato
Just might live forever
As with his divine Phaedo
I too have these feelings
For two women not my wives
I sent them intimate poems
Does love like these survive?
From 1985?
