My childhood was happiness
It wasn't perfect
It was actually bittersweet
but I was happy
The innocence of a child
As I grew up,
life smacked me
right across the face
I learned that life
will never be
what you planned it to be
It made me experience
tragedy,
happiness,
disappointment,
and pain;
lots of it
It made me stronger
and wiser
But if I will be given
the chance,
I would go back
to being
that kid again
because life
was so much simpler
back then
