my dad is so proud,
he hammered some plywood against his deck
to sort of act as make shift walls

it looks ameteurish and cheap and I don't quite understand the purpose,
but I love seeing his enthusiasm

and after a while it did become cozy. the thin, wobbly plywood
added charm, and my morning coffee seemed much
warmer
I sip slowly, and a bird arises from its nest of twigs
