Upon my broken heart
you treaded and dug my
grave, you left my broken
pieces to rot within the
soils of our love, its our
lovers plot of forgotten
dreams.

When the winter frost
came to settle it became
my friend cold but consistent,
unlike you it never forsaken
me.

With your cold heartless
words you stabbed me deep
deeper still, as the blood
stained the ground, a reminder
of your betrayal.

I am left lonely,
the bruises ach
as if fresh from
yesterday.

Your sorry hurts deeper,
each time you break its
structure it gets weaker.

I never had time to heal,
before you take another
stab you stole my heart
and broke its trust you
broke the wheels and
threw the dust.

You left me in a shallow grave,
where I am trying to put back
together the broken pieces
of our love.
