How could I not hold your hand
As we danced onto grass still moist
From the early sun
Flowing like the rain as it patters onto the
Green leaves of the old oak tree
The blackbirds song so sweet in our minds
As we kissed

We kissed with a passion like
New lovers in the old fashioned way
Seeking to search the way to ones heart
Our day to remember
Our love to grow strong
A desire of affection that turns into this
Our blossom of life

And there we lay cold wet warm
In love
No care for the world of anger
Just the look of love that comes
When two souls become
In love
