I saw you last night,
I wonder if you saw me.
You confessed to me,
without me being there.
Your mask was off,
your bruised face showed
with scars from your failures,
you didn't hide them this time.

You came clean,
declared your love,
told me your deepest secrets,
your worst fears.

You took me to your studio,
and showed me,
all the things you loved about me,
you had painted them
so detailed ; beautiful
I wonder if you saw me there,
as you were talking to yourself
