Dear Editor
Thanks for sharing Emily Gould's.A great story.

Writing is not about self-pushing--let the ideas and words come in their rightful time.  Zen--stop, listen, be empty, feel and you will find your right voice.

Each writer is different and there is no perfect formula. But writing must be pleasurable and not aimed at making money (unless this is the sole source of income) or achieving fame (only one in 20 million attains this).

Stephen King compels himself to write 4,000 words per day.....amazing! I write only 200 to 500!  Sometimes zero!  My best hours are the morning 8 to 11.

I am quite lazy as a hobby-writer of prose and verse--more of the latter.

I am singularly happy in being myself and laugh at my mediocrity but am unfazed as this is my passion as with music since I am a hobby-composer.

Shall read Emily's as soon as Melb bookshops/libraries open for business.

Thank you for keeping me in your list.  I am learning and have enjoyed much.
Words are not chased for/              in lingering steps they appear /             none is the same as before /             some are sterile, others are dear-
too often I have failed--in truth- /            publishers' rejections I no longer fear    /         somehow writing has made me feel good        /     should I have reason to shed any tear?

Warmest wishes
Lim,     failed but happy 'writer',  Melbourne
