The soothing glow of morning sun radiated its warmth into his very existence.

The weight of a thousand burdens lifted, he could finally fly.

Those three words, were they really worth a ****, when they so too, were said to another.

Drowning in melancholy, he took shallow comfort in the knowledge: pain is temporary, while greatness. Is forever.

And once the utter infatuation subsided, he saw her for what she truly was. A broken soul.
To a girl I once loved.
