silk strewn petals

 red and soft

 girls with dreams

 whisper "loves me not"

 weightless rain drops

 stomp the ground

 like a shattered boy

 who can't make a sound

 nettle lit breeze,

 whisk our oceans apart

 like-too old boys

 with young girls' hearts
