I slave for days
I have never changed my ways
I work for a betterment
But what is my payment?
Am I supposed to find happiness
By doing the meaningless
Not so my fellow

Some strive for peace and quite
Others find fulfillment in a diet
But what shall I give my life for
A myth, story, or some folklore

Some say Buda
And others points me to Judah
Shall I pretend
Or say to a friend
That a prayer over a bead
Or some good deed
Will fill their heart

Till God impart
Full wisdom to my heart
I will stand alone and do my part
To seek his will
And do his ways

Until I leave to heaven above
I will seek to love
As he has done
For me, his son.
