This music caresses you
As the islands of ambivalence digress
In degrees we become simultaneously
Cheaper and more abundant
Fun is always relative as the furniture weeps
So we piece together meager earnings
For to survive is to be free
And life is a bargain made from rhythms
Molded in herbs that make you rhyme
And soaked in the fiery bowels
Of a barrel of locally spiced ***
