Someone stole your light didn’t they
Made you feel like you will never find your way
Please find your way back home.
I miss the flame in you that used to shine so bright
And now there is barely any warmth left in you at all
The shine you had in your eyes is one I will never forget
You used to be so innocent without a care in the world
So happy and loving
And they way you used to smile,
One would never be able to tell now
Because you are in a state of constant pain.
It’s like the world is against you.
Did you do something wrong?
That doesn’t matter know does it
There’s things to help you forget right?
So as the liquid burns your throat, as smoke fills the air,
And you watch yourself slowly slip away.
Was it worth it?
Did it help you forget?
Or did it just make things worse.
I miss you, and who you used to be.
Because this person you’ve become is not you and never will be.
