there is a little mouse he lives beneath my shed
with lots a lots of straw he uses for his bed
he roams around the garden happy as can be
a very friendly chap he comes up close to me

i get a piece of cheese put it on the floor
eats till it gone then comes back for more
then when i sit down climbs upon my knee
with big long whiskers that bring a smile to me

then when he gets tired beneath the shed he goes
into his bed of straw to takes a little doze
dreaming of tomorrow for his little treat
his little piece of cheese that he just loves to eat
