Sometimes, the night wakes
in the middle of me
and I, wrapped up in
a sheet of thoughts
look up the sky

There I see
the quintessential Moon
sailing through the sky
quite unaware, of its pull
making the water
in the oceans bulge

Like the moon stirs the sea
so do you, stir me
while sailing on your own rhythm
quite unaware, of your pull
weaving tides in my heart

I would like to believe
the seas once belonged to
the moon...and then
they fell apart

...and there's something in the moon
that's constantly, ceaselessly
trying to embrace the sea
one more time
quite unaware, it already does
