Poems
Feb 2020
the statue
he was lost
in an old forest
young wolves
circling
smelling
his desperation
he spent years
building
his fortress
of thick skin
that nothing
could penetrate
that nothing
could escape
in this old forest
he was rigid
his cold
lonely body
shivering
unable to feel warmth
