Didn't need a crown to be king
Didn't need the practice of talent to be great
It suddenly bloomed and multiplied faster than cancer cells
A twist of faith to have fortune at our doors
Hunger didn't leave us with scars
We triumphed and became lords of victory
For brotherhood was that chain necklace we wore and showcased to the world
Trace my roots in the fertile lands where the sun rises from
Not the moon or the Mars but from the land on which my former highschool sits for it made us great
And now we are the living definition of greatness
Was it art? the calligraphy that flowed with the streams to the Nile
That perfected the virtues of life in us
Was it the winds that carried sweet melodies from the nightingales and made us dance like Michael Jackson
Was it the Math that added up every good thought and shadowed all evil that rained in mind
Or it was a love built on simple grounds
Needed no castles to be supreme
It was friendship and nothing more
Just thought that you should know
In Life, we meet new people that become our friends and then family.Everyone needs a friend
