what is it to be free?
where is its kingdom?
is it true liberty

or half-sized
low-toned
compromised
only partially owned?

but power  steps in
to suppress and agonise
how quickly does it grow thin
it fears to antagonise.

history's chronicle tells it all
vocal heroes but last a short while
