Rainbow  Cadillac

he was cool
he was clean
there was nothing about him
you could consider mean

kind and considerate
and all that smack
but remembered most
for his Rainbow Cadillac

big old pink thing
with colors galore
with his own portrait
painted on the door

he would cruise the hood
with his music loud
everywhere he went
he attracted a crowd

he would drive by slow
and throw out kisses
winking his eye
at all the misses

he would give you a spin
if you asked real nice
just cruising with him
was sugar and spice

it's been 30 years
but I remember him well
I can hear him sing
clear as a bell
