The doctor walked hurriedly ....
8 hours of sweat from the labor room
On the day When I was born
The doctor announced with smiles and joy, a GIRL!!
Yes I was born a girl, BIG MISTAKE!!!
not after long...
My Daddy’s world turned upside down..
Obviously something was wrong,
Daddy was unhappy,
He got the wrong baby...

My granddad was disgusted,
didn’t even glance at the baby cot
I tried to be the nicest, prettiest...
Forced my lips to curl sweetly only after a few minutes I was born
My effort was to no avail

Decided!! All they ever wished for
Was an heir to the throne
A baby boy I was not ...but I was born  a girl...
My grandma stood still, expressionless
My mom’s cries was louder than mine
Ohh!! What a day to start a New Life
Mercy me!! I  had just suffered a near death experience
At birth..
Please mercy my mom too...
She was never at fault to give birth to me...a baby girl..
Can you imagine what kind of journey it would be for me?
from one comfortable world into a new one?
from my mother’s condusive womb to this cruel reality of life?
I have just tried to open my  tiny little eyes
into a bright new world.
But painful journey down the birth canal
Was it worth?
My eyes see the instant hate and fear
As soon as I was casted at birth...
My family have rightfully claimed
I am not being fit as an heir to the throne..
