a man in his mind
if his mind is right
is it possible at all
to venture from rhyme

i think it not
but to try at this time
to write a poem
without the rhyme

our mind it thinks
sometimes on it's own
no rhyme or reason
maybe you just alone

our thoughts run deep
to the unknown
where ideas are born
maybe darkened
and worn

write what you think
without thinking at all
many poets do it
it must be there call

let it go
slowly at first
it will soon speed up
without knowing at all

write about birds
or about bees
write about
men woman or trees
write about love
write about death
write from your heart
and from your head

see what i mean
about the rhyme
it happens to me
all of the time
