My Modern Illusion
I am so dependent
I am so disfigured
I am so lost between the fields
Of idleness and vigor
I've become a wreck
Stepping confidence on ice
A moments soul into the air
A moment sure is nice
The pavements far from painless
Actions act as faults, i'm down
The rains left me mistaken
Broken back, in drops I drown
Comfy in a casket
In a polished suit and tie
See a breath, I grasp it
Gasping as I realize
It isn't mine.
