We had that story that would win us an accolade of "best love "
We pushed it above to the skies, dressed  it in  a diamond frame and at sunrise, it could shine in the background of the sun
Was it an earthquake that shook the earth and broke the foundation on which this love had been built
Making the love fall from the sky and break leaving us with just pieces
Pieces that the winds blew to  different places
And now it feels like we shall never regain our lost glory.
Because the broken pieces haven't been found
True love can be hard to mend once broken
