Lying in a field, of
acupuncture'd Irish
mud, the impaling
branches maintained a
remnant of the mighty
oaks past dignity.

Its artificial elevation
was cantilevered by
the root ball acting as a
balance weight giving
he invisible fulcrum
its equilibrium.
