Death
all will face death
this is a certainty
there is no escape
from death's sea
we'll crumble to dust
beneath the ground
we'll be ever buried
in an earthen mound
in darkness we'll lay
for eternity
we'll not have
a light with which to see
death is permanent
death shall come
death is waiting
for everyone
at any moment
we could be called away
called away
for an infinite stay
death shall knock
at our door
it may well knock
this day upon our door
the death knell
is ringing
yes it is true
the death knell is ringing
for me and for you
no escape
no chance of a way out
the endless caravan of death
is ever about
