there was a little squirrel a lovely chap was he
when christmas came around he would decorate his tree
hanging lots of baubles with colors by the score
hanging from the brances right down to the floor

he even made a fairy for top of his tree
in a big white dress for everyone to see
wore a santa hat that was red and white
he would sing some carols on a christmas night

his friends would gather round to see the christmas tree
it brought them lots of joy fill there hearts with glee
squirrels time of year that he loves the best
when theres peace on earth and the world all comes to rest
