Mar 2013
Bands of glitter fall from the rays of
Pure blue
Such a sight made for
Heaven
In luck for the few

Cold to the nose as a crystal
Formed its perch
My eyes crossed in view
Of such wonder

Miracles from the sky
Filled my heart with a smile
The snow gods were busy
This eve

Their work would bring life
To our parched earth
And joy to the many
As this place now became
Our playground

The days became that longer
As colour fell away
Tide was for turning
To a spring summers day

Snow became the wine
To the green seeking
Shoots
This winter had faded

Oh in my longing for white
Crystal flakes
To fall on my tongue
This quiver in haste

As I wait for the clouds
In the fall i might see
A miracle sparkle
Winter complet
