Under the canopy
we are stranded
and wondering why
trying to stare through the sky

Lives are like straw
They are fragile
We are not strong
People do not last long

Religions all promise
an answer to the question
We try to make sense
stumbling through our innocence

Please be consoled
if you're grief is deep
We will escape our plight
The mirage is finite
