Summer Rain
Summer Rain falling
Lowering warmth of the day
Nourishing the Land
Reviving life in our plants
Summer Rain, falling again
Summer Rain falling
Keep an umbrella on hand
Coats optional choice
Summer Rain nourishes land
We run around dodging drops
Summer Rain falling
Dark clouds full of Summer Rain
Falling on flood plains
Causing panic and distress
As the rain blows through again
Experimenting Tanka style, Summer Rain seems topical today.
