We are ecstatic
Lacking sacred artifacts
And neglected puzzles
Reprimanded
Landlords
Invite you to their
Granddaughter’s
Graduation parties
Strategic histories
Often disagree
Still your eyes
Are a mystery
To me
I see love's mask
Shape-shifting again
This breath
Is never ending
Sending loving prayers
To the heart
Of your soul
Please dream carefully
And listen deeply
Satiate your strategies
But not completely
Insurgent icicles
Hanging from our rooftops
Threaten our safety
Stop living small
Did you know
That you could
Buy the whole world
With a single dolllar
They'll try to sell you
A copy of your Self
But you won't let them
Ever make a fool
Of you again
So we tell them
Your daughters
Are our lovers
And you begin
To let them live
Underneath your skin
