Never mind about
last night rainfall.
Even this morning
heavy rain
that flooded the
streets and kept
everyone inside
their houses.
The rainbow promises
sunshine in a moment
till the evening
Never mind about
the tear drops
from my eyes.
The heat of
the hugs from
your presence will
dry it up.
For the warmth
if your love
is my covering
on this very
cold lonely night,
were the moon
sit all alone up
in the firmament.
All the stars
wink and twinkle
to remind me
that I'm not alone.
Even the frogs
and the crickets
nearby with other
night creatures sang
their froggy chirpy
shrilly songs
to comfort me
on this cold lonely night.
The rainwater splashing
in steady drops
on the leaves
seem to clap
in rhythm to the
sounds of the night.
And their lullabies,
so sweet.
