It was all so sudden, out of the blue.

The hazy fog lifted and I saw you.

Our eyes. They met and you started to grin.

"Things will get better then they've ever been."

We've got each other until the end.

I know you won't leave. You're my best friend.

You tell me there's no need to be sad.

"You're alive and well. Be glad!"

I'll listen to your advice and keep them here.

I'll repeat them year by year.

"So it's okay" You'd say to me.

"It'll be better. You can live in glee!"
