These national treasures
are ghosts in your head
the new order is here
the old one is dead.

The ancients knew
what we do not.

Spasms.

Blind canyons,
cable cars crossing
chasms,
things we never
dreamt about.

Full of dullness
the morning pours
with rain,
this feels like the
ghosts again.

Even Thunderbirds wouldn't
go today.

The good thing is
and there's always one,

this particular show
carries on and on,

It used to be Summer and
the corn filled with gold,
no mention then of
being old?
but the ancients knew

they always did.
