The silk beneath my touch is so,
I want it more, the more I know.
The silk I stroke is softer still,
that all I want, I can't fulfill.

The silk that I embrace is so,
I spurn the thought of letting go.
The silk that I hold close is more,
like holding all that I adore.

The silk that wraps you, completely,
it so surrounds you, heavenly.
The silk contains you, such a gift,
with such a sight, my eyes won't drift.

The silk of skin, the silk of you,
the touch of me, what I would do.
So every graze, and kiss thereof,
the silk of life, the silk I love
So this is another piece I wrote while I was with my now ex-girlfriend. It expresses for me the joy felt while showing gentle affection for someone you care deeply for, like a simple stroke of her cheek.
