Those with minds enlightened and years of living life
tell that you keep inner contentment and rhythmic calm
by cutting your coat according to your size and measure
I do not crave what I cannot have or afford

Thieves steal because they want what they have not earned
jealousy rides on wanting what someone else has but you don't
envy grows from seeing the haves of which you do not partake
Know yourself, know your limits and grow honestly with efforts
Do not resent others for what and who they are

I do not envy others what they have or possess for I am not them
I do not try and be what I am not or do as others do cause they do
if you are wise you will have known that by now
but because you always look at the greener grass of others
you believe I am like that and you are so misled and wrong
you cannot make me in your image or make me have your desires

We are not all shallow materialistic people looking to follow fads
we are not fakes covering ourselves with falseness in imitations
we don't all want to compensate for our inadequacies
we don't all want to do because others are doing for we know whats real
we are not slaves to our passions, we are not puppets on a string!

THINK............................................
We convince ourselves that happiness is an effect; that there has to be cause for it. That makes happiness so dependent on the external environment and makes us a puppet. Happiness without a cause is sui generis, in a class of its own. If we learn the art of being happy without a reason, then we can be happy even when there is a reason to be unhappy.
The ordinary public is a puppet of worthless news and media.  People may not like you, but that's cool because your heart doesn't beat from their liking. You can't live to please everyone, you're not a puppet

Because to take away a man's freedom of choice, even his freedom to make the wrong choice, is to manipulate him as though he were a puppet and not a person.” ...
β€œMost people do not have a problem with you thinking for yourself, as long as your conclusions are the same as or at least compatible with their beliefs.
