She sits
Tears trip down her face
Rolling into air soaking into her childs coat
Her embrace is stronger than any bond or chain
It was only moments ago she was shouting
Ranting, screaming and she snapped
Snapped and lashed out
They both cry
The red hand shape mark on her daughters face
You try being a single parent
You try day on day taking on the world
But it was home out of sight
It was unseen
This time
